Fable of the lamlamey

Lamlamey

It was some two years ago that I'd gone to the ban-jhakri falls along with Sheba, Minu, and Ambika. Ban-Jhakri falls is on the way to Ranka from Gangtok. The legend follows that ban-jhakris stay in the forests and sometimes lure young boys into their caves. Lamlamey is ban-jhakri's wife and is known for having huge breasts (as is apparent) and their feet are turned towards the opposite direction.

So, if you are ever chased by a lamlamey, always run uphill; her breasts will push her backwards and slow her pace. This was the joke that went around when we were kids.
